Frequently Asked Questions

Who is Jax Gratton and what happened to her?

Jax Gratton is a 34-Year Old woman who has been missing in Denver since April 15th, 2025. It is unknown at this time what happened to her or where she may be. We do know that she was last seen leaving her apartment near the 4200 block of E. Iliff Avenue around 10:00pm. After telling her roommate she would return in just a few hours, she was never to be seen again or heard from again. She left behind not only her medications but also her beloved cat, Madame Francesca. Friends and family are very worried as this is out of character for her and we ask that you please help spread the word until the day comes that we can bring Jax home!

What was Jax wearing and/or carrying last?

She left with a couple small bags and was wearing striped, Paisly patterned pants, a black and white striped shirt and a greenish-gray, blotched coat.

Is there a reward for information?

There is currently a $2,000 reward being offered by Metro Denver CRIMESTOPPERS for anyone who contacts the tipline or submits a tip online with accurate information that leads them to the whereabouts of Jax Gratton.

Could Jax have left voluntarily?

Yes. In fact, Jax did leave voluntarily, in that she left her apartment on her own free will. She had plans to go out on the night that she went missing (April 15) and told her roommate she would return home a few hours later. She never came home, and no one has seen or heard from her since. While she did leave voluntarily, it is very concerning that she has not been home or contacted her loved ones in over a month. She also has not withdrawn the funds in her bank account and has not used her cell phone since approximately 10:40pm on the night that she went missing.

What happened to Jax's cat, Madame Francesca?

Madame Francesca was picked up from Jax's apartment by a close friend not long after she went missing. She was recovered safe and unharmed and is now living happily ever after in her new home. Rather than being an only cat, she now has a brother, Augustus (Maine Coon) and a sister, Gracie (Turkish Angora) who she loves to nap and chase lasers with!

Have search efforts been organized? How can I help or Volunteer?

With the permission of the Denver Police Department as well as Jax's mother, we have previously conducted two of our own large grid searches based on information provided to us by trusted sources. Unfortunately, we turned up with no answers and do not have further searches planned at this time. There is the possibility of another search in the future, however this will not be until the detective on Jax's case reports any credible leads or other reason(s) to be conducting another search.

Has Jax's phone, social media, bank account or pharmaceutical activity been checked?

Yes, the Denver Police Department is actively working on Jax's case and has confirmed that Jax has not used her phone, been active on social media, withdrawn money from her bank account or made transactions, or picked up any medications from the pharmacy since before or around the time that she went missing.

Has it been verified that she is not in jail, a hospital, a morgue or a psychiatric or rehabilitation facility?

We have been actively checking all possible locations, including hospitals, morgues, jails, and psychiatric or rehabilitation facilities. As of now, there has been no confirmation that Jax is at any of these places.
